Newborns are best photographed between 7-21 days old. It's important to book your due date early to ensure your spot is reserved - ideally after your 12 week scan. Spots fill quickly as I take a limited number of due dates each month, although I do sometimes have last minute openings so please still inquire! Once your due date is secured by deposit and your baby arrives, we will schedule your session within 21 days of baby's birth date.

Choosing the right colors in your wardrobe for your session takes the overall look from good to GREAT! I'm a big fan of neutrals, but specifically white/light cream or tans in the studio look best. Lace and off the shoulder dresses/shirts for mom are also a favorite! Choosing light colored clothing help to create a really lovely light and airy feel to your images. Blue denim also photographs really well with all the white in studio and provides a pop of color without taking away from my bright style.

I find photographing newborns in the morning or early afternoon are best. Sessions are scheduled on weekdays, with limited weekend availability. For outdoor newborn sessions, I recommend early in the morning for soft lighting. 

Yes! Once you are officially booked and we are closer to your due date / baby's arrival, I will send you a few helpful guides that help prepare you for your session. As well as, a questionnaire where you will be able to share your choice of colors / style for the session. Based on your color selections, I will style and design a session to feature a gallery full of variety that reflects your style perfectly!
